Richard Eugene Hines

Richard Eugene Hines, 35, passed away on June 14, 2014 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment is to follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Richard was born on July 10, 1978 in Fort Worth to Richard and Georgia Hines. He graduated from Haltom High School in 1996. Shortly after graduating Richard received his A&P License from Tarrant County College and went to work for Delta Airlines as an aircraft mechanic. He held multiple positions with Lockheed Martin over the past several years. Richard was a very giving person and was always there to lend a helping hand to friends and family. His daughter Callie was the light of his world and he considered her his best accomplishment of all. Richard was preceded in passing by his mother, Georgia Hines. Survivors: Daughter, Callie Marie Hines; grandparents, Calvin and Dovie Bass and Claude Richard Hines; father, Richard Dale Hines; aunts and uncles, Carolyn and Bob Smith, Bubba Bass, Jimmy Wayne and Annie Hines, Debra and Wesley Glass and Carlene and Larry Fessenden; cousins, Jody and Kat Hines, DeeDra and David Parrish, and Jennifer Smith; and many more loving cousins and family members.
