Robert Lee Gnade

FORT WORTH -- Robert Lee Gnade went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday June 24, 2014. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Monday, June 30, at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Robert Lee Gnade was born Aug. 26, 1943, in Des Moines, Iowa. Bob was a graduate of Central State University. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a master sergeant for approximately 37 years as a radiology technologist and medically retired in 2000. He worked in radiology at John Peter Smith until his retirement. Bob and Lois opened their hearts and home to 18 exchange students from all over the world who call them mom and dad. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael; daughter, Melissa; and parents. Ray and Maryanna Gnade. Survivors: Bob is survived by his wife, Lois; and a grandson, Coy of Fort Worth. Bob has two brothers, Steve Gnade of Bedford and Jimmy Gnade of Auburn, Neb.; and three sisters, Rae Ann Falk and Sally Lavigne of Auburn, Neb., and Jeanne Morava of Mableville, Ark.
