Robert Eugene Murch

GRANBURY -- Robert Eugene "Uncle Bob" Murch, 74, died at his home Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at the river. Uncle Bob was born Oct. 15, 1938, and grew up in foster care. He became part of a big family when he met Charlene Walton in 1968. He was like a father to Charlene's son, Charley. Uncle Bob instantly befriended anyone he met and everyone at the river knew him simply as Uncle Bob or Shorty Bob. Survivors: Friends, Charlene Walton, Charley Simpson, Kim Bell, Kelly Ford and countless other friends and family who loved him dearly and will miss him very much.
