Ruby Lewis

Ruby was born Nov. 9, 1920, in Venus. She was a longtime member of Riverside Church of Christ and a charter member of Midtown Church of Christ. For many years she was an active volunteer with the Girl Scouts. Her family remembers her as always having an open house for family and friends. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother and one granddaughter. Survivors: Son, Jimmy Lewis and wife, Karen, of Justin; daughters, Linda Brooks of Haltom City and Sandra Lewis of Oklahoma: seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Barrow of Fort Worth; and special cousin, Billie Faye Seaton of Haltom City. e
