SAN DIEGO, CALIF. -- Shelley Renee Martin, 41, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014. Memorial service: 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Memorial: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Humane Society. Shelley was born on March 23, 1973, in Houston. She was a 1991 graduate of L.D. Bell High School and a 1995 graduate of UTA with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Shelley was a licensed member of the American Association of Professional Coders, working as a medical coder for Mitchell, Int. Survivors: Father, Ross Martin; mother, Julia Lloyd and stepfather, George; brother, Justin Martin; grandmother, Vernell Henry; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; and her dog, Buddy.
