Sherry was reared in Orlando, graduating from William R. Boone High School in 1970 and subsequently attended the University of Central Florida. Sherry and her family were Denver residents for 16 years during which time she worked for the AMC Cancer Research Center in Denver and husband, Bruce worked for Lockheed Martin.Sherry and her family were residents of Palmdale, California, from October, 2001, to November, 2006, during which time she worked for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena while Bruce worked for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics ("Skunk Works") in Palmdale California.Sherry's employment also included Winter Park Federal Savings & Loan, University of Arkansas, The Ohio State University, The MITRE Corporation and Martin Marietta Astronautics. Sherry is survived by husband of 38 years Bruce Lage'; son, Randall Lage' and wife, Jami; daughters, Renee DiCesare and husband, John, Valerie Serna and husband, Eric, Chelsea Alexander and husband, James, and Brooke Lage'; grandchildren; Bella Serna, Kyle DiCesare and Casey DiCesare; brother, Lewis Robinson Jr.; sisters, Lila Corley and husband Hal, and Elizabeth Smith; and extended family.
