Tennie Odom

Ruth was a longtime member of Riverside Baptist Church, a retiree of the Fort Worth ISD after 25 years of service and a Yellow Rose of Texas. Ruth was a beloved friend, wife, sister and was the "Perfect Mother and Grandmother." She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William "Bill" Y. Odom Jr. Survivors: Daughters, Sue Bednarczuk and husband, Ken of Keller, Janie Pokluda and husband, Gary of North Richland Hills; grandchildren, Angela Hazlewood and husband, Glenn, Shawn Bednarczuk and Taylor Pokluda; sister, Virginia Stumbo of Fort Worth.Memorials: may be made in Ruth's honor to Riverside Baptist Church or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
