Thomas Sawyer

HURST -- Thomas Sawyer, 76, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011.        Service: Inurnment will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 18, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.        A native of Marion County, S.C., Thomas was born Dec. 18, 1934. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force.        Woodworking, fishing and gardening were among his hobbies.        Survivors: Wife, Betty Parr Sawyer; children, Tom Sawyer Jr., Rebecca Landers, Gayla Roderick and Deborah Sawyer; nine grandchildren; and stepchildren, Gary Parr, Ronald Parr, Lisa Quezada and Janet Welch.
