Timothy Paul Green was born on May 19, 1972 in Irving, Texas. He entered into the Heavenly kingdom from this earth on August 17, 2024 at home in Haslet, Texas at the age of 52.
Tim graduated from Notre Dame High School in Dallas, and was a loving, hard-working, kind, and generous individual. He spent 13 years working as a Cashier Associate at Tom Thumb in Irving, which he thoroughly enjoyed. After he left Tom Thumb, he had more free time to enjoy a variety of activities he had always loved. He was an avid and fairly proficient bowler, and participated in a bowling league for more than 20 years. Like his dad and sister, Tim loved baseball. So, when he was able to join a softball league about 10 years ago, he did. Because Tim was never one to sit still or slow down, when it wasn’t softball season, you would find him with this same team on a basketball court. Tim would be the one wearing regular clothes most of the time because he couldn’t find his uniform.
When he wasn’t working or playing sports, you would find Tim enjoying one of his other favorite past times such as: going out to eat, enjoying a movie in the theater, or just hanging out with friends at any gathering he could find! As is the case with his mom and sister, Tim loved animals, but they loved him even more! Even his sister’s dogs would be drawn to Tim whenever he came to her place. So, it is no surprise that he always had a dog of some sort in his reality at all times. As much as Tim loved his mom, sister, and brother in law, he loved Jesus even more! Therefore, whenever he was able and someone would take him to church on Sunday morning, he would be the one on the front row singing louder than anyone else with that big, beautiful smile on his face.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul David Green and his brother-in-law, David Glen O’Brien.
He is survived by his mother, Wilma Jean (Adams) Green of Keller; sister, Vicki O’Brien of Haslet; and uncle, Carroll Adams of West Virginia.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Williams and Lucas Funeral Home Chapel with funeral service beginning at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Aurora Cemetery.
