HURST -- Tommy J. Scott Sr., 71, a lifelong resident of Hurst, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Sunday, April 29, 2012. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Tommy was born in Grapevine, a proud dad and Papa to a lot of people. He left his mark on a lot of people through his kindness and the stories he told. He never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Roberta C. Scott, and their daughter, Lori Scott. Survivors: His children, Debbie Scott, Tommy Scott Jr. and his wife, Becky, Jeffrey Scott and his wife, Rhonda, Dustyn Scott; his grandchildren, Alex Scott, Patrick Scott, Kristyn Scott, Allie Scott, Grayson O'Conner and Josh Bull; sisters, Nell Richards-Bolton and Peggie Mullenax; countless nieces, nephews and friends of his children and granchildren whom he considered family.
