William Browning

WATAUGA -- William R. Browning Jr., 85, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2009. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Glenview Baptist Church, 4805 N.E. Loop 820 at Haltom Road, Fort Worth. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. William was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Irene, and daughter, Dixie Kiker. Bill was a wonderful Christian man who served the Lord daily at Glenview Baptist, where he was a deacon. Survivors: Daughters, Cinda Owen and husband, Don, and Ann Haney and husband, Larry; and sister, Jarves Roaden. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren who adored him; lots of loving great-grandchildren; and was blessed with seven great-great-grandchildren; and extended family in North Carolina and many dear friends.
