William "Buddy" Walton

William A. "Buddy" Walton III, a resident of Mansfield Texas since 2008, passed away Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010. Buddy is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda Walton; his son, David Walton and his wife Katharine (Katie) Walton of Arlington, TX; his mother, Mary Katherine Walton and his sister, Kathy Dyer and her children, Julie, Kim, and Wes; brother in law Bryan Ingram and his wife Bonnie and their children Kris and Stephen, all of Albuquerque, NM; as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews. His father, William A. (Bill) Walton predeceased him April 10, 2001. Buddy was born April 5, 1953. He was hired as a co-op student at the Philips Laboratory, Kirtland AFB, at the age of 19 while studying Electrical Engineering at the University of New Mexico. He continued as a full time engineer after earning his bachelor degree until his retirement in January 2009. Buddy loved wood-working, playing trivia games, working crossword puzzles, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to your favorite charity.
