FORT WORTH -- William Troy McGrath Jr., 67, passed away Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013. Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Friday with military honors in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. William Troy, the son of William Troy and Thekla Wyatt McGrath, was born April 9, 1946, in Fort Worth. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In 2007 he retired from BNSF railroad after 41 years as a brakeman. Following retirement, he enjoyed traveling, especially to the coast. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors: Sons, Billy and wife, Charlotte, Bobby and wife, Michelle, and Dustin and wife, Christina; grandchildren, Allexis, Kenadi, Dillon and Hanna McGrath; sister, Sharon McDavid and husband, David; and niece and nephews, Shea Evans, Todd and Scott McDavid.
