Wilma Roper

Wilma D. Roper, 85, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away at 4:04 P.M. on Saturday, November 28, 2009, in the Medical Center of Arlington. Wilma was born in Britton, Texas on September 14, 1924, the daughter of Benjamin Howard Franklin and Janie Leone Griffith Howard. She married Earl Garland Roper in Dallas, Texas on September 5, 1942. Mrs. Roper was a retired secretary. Survivors include her son, Donald Roper and wife JoAnna, daughter, Linda Scott, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
