Zdenka Malik

FORT WORTH -- Zdenka Malik, 95, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011, at a local hospital.        Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania Ave., Fort Worth. Dr. Jim McDoniel will officiate. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.        During her early years, Zdenka was in show business performing in a high-wire act. She worked for and then retired from the Birdville school district. She was married to Jan Malik on April 21, 1936; he preceded her in death.        Survivors: Daughter, Vanda Nielson; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Klara Valla; and a host of dear friends.
